For communities that don't have a voice yet

The most valuable local knowledge is the hardest to find.

We build products that turn invisible community expertise into something everyone can search. Our first: MyKidSpots — helping families discover activities nationwide.

The Problem

AI Is the New OS.
But It's Running on Broken Infrastructure.

Big Tech Scraping

Google and OpenAI aggregate web data for answers. Variable accuracy. Sometimes outdated. Limited accountability to original data creators. Local knowledge gets lost in the noise.

Web scraping frequently breaks when sites update layouts Well-documented industry challenge

Closed Platforms

Platforms like Yelp and TripAdvisor license your community contributions under broad terms. You create value. They control distribution and monetization. Revenue flows to the platform, not to you.

$0 revenue for content creators

Fragmented Sources

Communities answer the same questions in Facebook groups. No structure. No API. No way for agents to access it reliably.

Scraping is slow and fragile vs structured API under 200ms Based on MCP specification targets
There's a better way: small, focused apps that serve overlooked communities with structured data. Not another monolithic platform — a constellation of micro-infrastructure, each owned by the people who know it best.

Why Now

The App Distribution Window Is Open.
Standards Are Being Set Right Now.

OpenAI's ChatGPT app ecosystem moved from launch to directory in late 2025. The stack is becoming standardized, but category ownership is still available to focused builders.

IBM owned computing. The PC revolution happened. Citizen builders won.
Now (2025-2026)

YOU ARE HERE. Apps SDK + app directories exist. Distribution is in the chat. Vertical data moats are still open.
Soon (2027+)
Distribution normalizes. Only apps with proprietary, fast-changing data keep pricing power.

Apps SDK Introduced
ChatGPT apps and app-native tooling moved from concept to platform reality.
Dec 17, 2025
Submission Opened
Developers could submit apps for review, creating a formal distribution path.
Dec 18, 2025
Directory Launched
Discovery moved in-chat and in-directory, accelerating adoption for focused vertical apps.
Communities create the value. We believe they should own it. That's why we build products where the people who know best control the data — not a platform that scraped it.
Our Vision

Building the Infrastructure for
Community-Owned AI

We believe the best AI infrastructure will be built by the people who know their domains best — not scraped by platforms that don't. Our approach: Dual-Native design, where one source of truth serves both a human interface and an AI agent API.

◉ Human Layer

Intuitive web interfaces where communities browse, discover, and contribute knowledge — free for everyone.

■ Agent Layer

Structured APIs that AI agents can query for verified, up-to-date answers — using MCP and emerging AI platform standards.

◆ Data Layer

One source of truth, maintained by domain experts, serving both surfaces without duplication or drift.

The Y Is the Architecture

Look at our logo. Two arms converge into one stem — that's Dual-Native design. The left arm is organic intelligence — human intuition, community knowledge, free utility. The right arm is digital intelligence — agent queries, structured actions, verified data. The junction is the platform — one data layer that serves both surfaces from a single source of truth.

The app store era rewarded marketing budgets. The conversation era rewards data quality. In intent-based distribution, the best answer wins.

The Difference

Why Not Just Let Google Handle This?

Google Maps Yelp Yapplify
Data ownership Platform-controlled Platform-controlled You own it
Revenue share $0 to you $0 to you Community-owned
AI optimization Variable accuracy Limited AI integration Dual-Native SDK — MCP + Apps SDK
In-chat distribution Limited Limited ChatGPT app-ready
Data freshness Variable; some stale listings User-dependent Community-verified

You create the value. You should capture the revenue. That's not just fair — it's better infrastructure. Why your local knowledge is the one thing AI can't fake →
Our Products

Building What's Missing

MyKidSpots is our flagship product — nationwide family activity discovery powered by community knowledge. It targets high-frequency, un-Googlable questions that parents ask every day: What's open today? Is this place good for toddlers? Are there actually activities this weekend?

Our Story

Built by outsiders. For everyone else.

Yapplify was born from a question asked by someone who didn't fit the mold. An immigrant parent, new to a community, searching for kids' activities — and finding that the resources were scattered, gatekept, or assumed you already "knew the right people."

That gap became MyKidSpots. That mindset became Yapplify. We don't build for the people already being served. We build for everyone else.

Open Source. Coming Soon.

We believe AI-era infrastructure should be community-owned. Our tools will be open source.
